How this poll works
- One answer per question each week. You can change it until the poll closes on Sunday night.
- Members and guests. Signed-in members vote with their account. Guests vote with an anonymous code kept in their browser, so clearing browser data can allow a second vote. That is why this is an informal reader poll, not a survey of all investors.
- What we keep. Each answer is stored with the week and either your member number or the anonymous code. We do not store your name or IP address with it, and no one sees individual answers.
- Small samples. Results appear once a question has 10 answers, because a handful of votes can mislead.
- Not a signal. Mood shows how readers feel. It does not predict prices and is not a reason to buy or sell.
