The Sabr Challenge. Win on discipline, not on luck.
Every month, members trade a fresh practice account of Rs 10,00,000 (or $10,000) on real prices across crypto, stocks, gold and currencies. The leaderboard ranks your Sabr score: how well you control risk, protect your account, follow a process and stay within halal limits. No entry fee, no prizes and no gambling, just a certificate you earn.

How the score works
| Part | Points | What earns them |
|---|---|---|
| Risk control | 30 | A stop-loss on every entry, and risking 2% of the account or less per trade. |
| Drawdown control | 25 | Keeping the deepest fall from your account peak small. A 20% drawdown scores zero here. |
| Process | 20 | A written reason for each entry, no revenge trades within 15 minutes of a loss, no overtrading days, and no widening of stops after entry. |
| Shariah care | 15 | Trading Compliant assets. Questionable assets count half, non-compliant assets count zero. |
| Risk-adjusted result | 10 | Return divided by drawdown. A lucky, reckless month cannot win the challenge. |
Rules
- Join once per month with a free Barqish account. Your challenge account starts with Rs 10,00,000 or $10,000 and cannot be reset.
- At least 5 closed trades are needed to be ranked. The month runs on Pakistan time and the board updates every 30 minutes.
- Spot only: buy with the cash you have, sell what you own. Fills come from real candles on our server, so everyone plays by the same rules.
- At the end of the month, everyone ranked with a score of 60 or more receives a Sabr Challenge certificate with a public verification code. The top 10 are marked on their certificate.
- One account per person. Duplicate or shared accounts are removed from the board.
Why there are no prizes
Paid-entry competitions with cash prizes are a form of qimar (gambling) in the view of most scholars, and prizes push people to take reckless risks for a lucky month. The Sabr Challenge rewards the behaviour that protects real savings: patience, planning and restraint. Your certificate shows that you practised it.
Questions
Is the Sabr Challenge free?
Yes. There is no entry fee and no prize money. You need a free Barqish account to join.
Can I win by making the biggest profit?
No. Profit is only 10 of 100 points, and it is measured against your drawdown. Discipline decides the ranking.
What happens at the end of the month?
The board is frozen, certificates are issued to everyone ranked with a score of 60 or more, and a new month starts. Your challenge account stays in your history.
Is this real trading?
No. It is practice with virtual money on real prices. Nothing on Barqish is a recommendation to buy or sell.
Education only. Practice results are simulated and do not predict real results.
