Trend and timeframes
The trend is the direction the market is already moving. Trading with it is like swimming with the current. Trading against it is possible, but it is how most beginners drown.
Barqish shows three timeframes. The daily (1D) is the boss: it tells you the direction. The 4-hour (4H) tells you the swing. The 1-hour (1H) helps you time the entry.
- Daily up, 4H pulling back to support: this is the classic buy setup.
- Daily down: do not buy dips. Wait for the daily to turn, however tempting the price looks.
- Sideways: trade smaller, or not at all. Chop eats accounts.
The Market Compass adds the biggest picture: whether the whole market is healthy. In a defensive market, even good coins fall.

Buy pullbacks in an uptrend: the daily gives direction, the pullback gives a low-risk entry near support.
