Zakat calculator for crypto, gold and cash
Work out your zakat in rupees in two minutes. Nisab uses live gold and silver prices in grams and tola, and your crypto is valued at live market prices. It runs in your browser; nothing you type is stored.
1. Nisab standard (nisab ka mayaar)
Many Hanafi scholars in Pakistan use the silver nisab because it is lower, so more zakat reaches people in need. Ask your scholar which to follow.

2. Cash and savings (naqdi aur bachat)
3. Gold and silver (sona aur chandi)
Hanafi scholars include jewellery you wear; other schools exempt personal jewellery. Follow your scholar.
4. Crypto (market value on your zakat date)
Crypto held to sell or trade is usually treated like trade goods: 2.5% of its market value. Stablecoins count as cash. Scholars who consider crypto impermissible may advise differently; see what scholars say.
5. Debts due now (fori qarz)
Zakat is due when your wealth has stayed above the nisab for one lunar year (hawl). This calculator is a guide, not a fatwa.
How this calculator works
- Nisab: 87.48 g (7.5 tola) of gold or 612.36 g (52.5 tola) of silver, valued at today’s price. 1 tola = 11.664 g.
- Prices: international gold and silver spot (gold-api.com) converted to rupees at the live USD/PKR rate. Local sarafa rates can differ, so you can enter your own per-tola rate.
- Crypto: live prices from Binance spot. Coins you hold for the long term or to trade are counted at market value.
- Not counted: your home, car, household items and tools you use for work.
